MEPF BIM Professional Program
Duration : 3 Months
Total Hours : 110+ Hours
Mode : Offline & Online (Hybrid Option Available)
Course Overview
The MEPF BIM Professional Program is designed for mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering students and professionals who want to develop expertise in Building Information Modelling for building services systems.
The course focuses on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection system modelling using industry-standard BIM workflows used in international construction projects.
Students learn how MEP systems are modelled, coordinated, and integrated with architectural and structural BIM models, preparing them for real project environments in modern construction companies.
Course Highlights:
MEPF BIM Modelling Tools & Workflows
Develop expertise in modelling HVAC ducts, electrical systems, plumbing networks, and fire protection systems while gaining hands-on experience with industry tools including Revit Mechanical (HVAC), Revit Electrical, Revit Plumbing, Revit Fire Protection, Navisworks Manage, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), used in professional MEP BIM project environments.
Discipline-Specific MEP System Modelling
Learn how mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems are developed and structured within BIM-based building service models.
BIM Coordination & Clash Detection
Understand how MEP models are coordinated with architectural and structural disciplines using model federation and clash detection workflows.
Construction Documentation & Quantification
Generate coordinated drawings, schedules, system documentation, and quantity take-offs directly from BIM models.
International Project Workflow Exposure
Work on project simulations aligned with real building services workflows, helping participants understand how MEP BIM models evolve through different project stages.
MEP System Training
Students gain practical exposure to modelling different building service systems used in real construction projects.
Mechanical (HVAC)
Duct modelling, air terminals, mechanical equipment, system classification, and airflow coordination.
Electrical Systems
Electrical distribution modelling, lighting systems, panels, conduits, cable trays, and circuiting workflows.
Plumbing Systems
Water supply, drainage systems, pipe modelling, plumbing fixtures, and piping networks.
Fire Protection Systems
Fire sprinkler systems, fire piping networks, fire protection components, and coordinated system layouts.
Industry-Based BIM Project Training
Students work on international BIM project simulations based on real building service workflows.
HVAC Project — Commercial Building (Middle East Based)
Develop duct and HVAC systems within a coordinated BIM environment.
Electrical Project — Commercial / Residential Building (US / UAE Based)
Model electrical distribution systems, including lighting and circuit layouts.
Plumbing Project — Commercial / Residential Building (US / UAE Based)
Develop plumbing and piping networks using BIM modelling workflows.
Fire Protection Project — Commercial / Residential Building (US / UAE Based)
Model fire sprinkler and fire safety systems within coordinated BIM models.
These projects provide hands-on experience developing BIM models aligned with LOD 200, LOD 300, and LOD 350 project standards.
BIM Coordination & Collaboration Workflows
Students learn how MEP models are coordinated with other disciplines using professional BIM collaboration workflows.
Key concepts include:
Federated model coordination
Clash detection and resolution
Model review workflows using Navisworks
Cloud collaboration using Autodesk Construction Cloud
BIM Execution Plan (BEP) fundamentals
These workflows reflect real coordination processes used in multidisciplinary BIM projects.
Career Opportunities After the Course
Graduates of this program can pursue roles such as:
MEP BIM Modeler
HVAC BIM Engineer
Electrical BIM Modeler
Plumbing BIM Modeler
MEP Coordination Engineer
With the growing adoption of BIM in infrastructure and building projects, professionals skilled in MEP BIM workflows are increasingly sought after by global construction and engineering companies.
